Hey everyone. Recently, I've just watched three movies in a row: The Happening, Wanted and Get Smart. I love all of them except The Happening cause its one of the most SADISTIC movie ever! Gosh, it's so gory and disgusting that I even had nightmares that night. (I'm not exaggerating!) Yet Mathieu said he slept soundly and peacefully. It's rated PG but my advice is to not let kids younger than 15 to watch. It's not really horror but the images and scenes are really impressionable so those that are scared easily (like me) will shiver with fright at night thinking about the god damn movie.

Wanted was good, pretty action packed. Get Smart is funny, simply hilarious. So I really recommend these two movies. I used to have a movie review section in my blog but I don't think its really neccessary now. Lol!

On another note, I've added this new section called Wallpapers. Deary Clara wanted it. Currently there's only 6, 5 from my old works. Therefore they're not really professional or eye-catching. But do give me time for improvements! XD Have fun!

Tutorial: Icon Set 1

This is a tutorial for those who wanna learn how to edit their icons. I used Adobe Photoshop Elements to this. Just a little bit of playing around with the layers can create a truly wonderful effect.

1) This is my base image:

Go to Enhance--> Adjust Colour--> Hue/Saturation and set saturation level to -31.

2)Duplicate the image. Set the layer to screen and opacity 44%. It should turn out looking like this:

3)Create a new layer and fill it with colour #0316CC. Set this layer to exlusion, opacity 30%. It would look like this:

4)Duplicate the original image (the saturated one, layer 1) and set it to overlay. The colours didn't show up nicely at 100% therefore I changed it to 75%. You can play around with the opacity depending on your image. My icon looked like this:

5)Next, create a new layer. Fill it with a gradient with colour #5BB0F1 on one end, and white on the other. Click on your gradient icon and click edit to get the desired gradient.

Drag the gradient tool diagonally across the layer.

6)Set the layer to colour burn. And it will end up looking like this:

As I found the kid's face too dark, i erased the area around it with a 27px eraser brush. There's not much difference but I preferred this new image.

7)Lastly, create a new layer, and add some brushes! To make this icon simple, I just applied some starry brushes which I have absolutely no idea where I got them from. If you do, please feel free to notify me so that I may credit the source. Thanks.

Remember to play around with the colours, blend, layers and saturations depending on your picure. Hope you found the tutorial useful. XD

Hi ya'll! I'm back from Bintan and am totally tanned right now - I look myanmar-ish and malay-ish. Haha! So the trip was really fun and I met some pretty cute guys there! Not to mention some lovely girls too. You guys really gotta head on over there for your vacation, its awesome!

So my exams are on the first day when school reopens and I'm aiming for just a pass. Omgosh that's pathetic right?! Argh, by the end of the year, I have to do well in at least 2 subjects! It's not an easy feat i tell ya, JC life is tough.

I've applied for some affies and am looking for more so tag my board if you wanna apply okay? Thank you darlings! XD And here's 13 icons for you guys. Btw, like the new layout?

I went for a class reunion bbq yesterday and surprisingly, I had fun. I couldn't really sleep the whole night due to all the fun I had but I've got a bigger excitement coming up, I'm going to Bintan tomorrow! There's this feeling of guilt nagging at me right now cause I haven't really been studying therefore I'm bringing some notes overseas to ensure that at least I do something. Lol!

I actually STUDIED today! Wow! It's really quite an accomplishment considering the fact that my terms are just two weeks away. I knew I wouldn't really study at home so I called Liting up and headed over to her place. At least I got my chinese done! Muahaha! So as you can see, I've revamped the layout, nice huh? and I've made something new called Snapcards!

Icons: Chronicles Of Narnia 2

Gosh, I'm so pissed right now! It's all because of my dumb maid, partially my mom too. Argh! Anyway, to get off on a better note, I watched Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian with Pei on Sunday and it was simply THE BEST! There's lots of twists, a hint of romance and what captivated the both of us the most were the effects. Even the damn storyline is good - better than the first one. Plus, this time, the guys were good looking. There's Prince Caspian, Edward and Peter. Muahaha!

Thus the enraptured me went back home and made a small set of icons of the movie again with two stock photos. I've got a Resource page up right now, short as it is, its all that I have. Lol! Hope you guys like the new set. =]
